Hello from Sundar, Yaso, Tamizh & Magizh
We’re the family your travel feed forgot to show you.
Two working parents. Two kids. A normal amount of vacation days and a completely unreasonable love of going places anyway.
Hi – we’re the family behind Four Tickets to Fun, a Canadian crew of four figuring out travel one trip at a time.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
Travel doesn’t have to wait. “We’ll go when the kids are older” quietly becomes “we never went.” Kids are portable. Naps happen in carriers, strollers, and rental cars. It’s fine.
Honest beats aspirational. We’ll tell you which hike was worth it and which “must-do” was a 45-minute line for a mediocre photo. If a place disappointed us, you’ll hear about it – along with what we’d do instead.
Limited time off is a design constraint, not a dealbreaker. We both work full-time. Every trip we take has to fit inside real vacation days, real budgets, and real bedtimes. That’s exactly why our itineraries work for families like yours.
No gatekeeping. We name every beach, trail, shave ice stand, and hotel. Always. You shouldn’t have to comment “location??” and hope.
Mostly, we hope this blog feels like a warm conversation between friends. If something here brings you comfort, sparks an idea, or simply makes you smile, then I’ve done exactly what we set out to do.
Little Moments That Inspire
Sometimes the quiet moments say the most. This blog is simply a collection of the things that make my everyday life feel a little softer, calmer, and more meaningful. I love capturing the small details, whether it’s a cozy corner at home, a quick weekend escape, or a recipe that instantly becomes a favorite. These are the snippets of my life that inspire me, and I hope they bring a little inspiration to your days too.
